Whiskey Media develops web sites for communities interested in the stuff we like…politics, comic books, video games, etc. We believe in content, conversation and the value of small batch whiskey. We’re (mostly) based in Sausalito, CA.

Our Team

Andy McCurdy leads our engineering effort, and designed the “Whiskey Powered” platform we use to publish our sites. Prior to Whiskey Media, Andy worked at Ubisoft, Emergent and CNET Networks. Andy originally hails from Chambersburg, PA.

Dave Snider handles all design and production for Whiskey Media. Prior to Whiskey, Dave was a co-founder of Enemy Kite, and worked the launches of MP3.com and TV.com at CNET. Dave grew up in the woods of Gaithersburg, MD.

Ethan Lance does a bit of everything for Whiskey Media, including product management and javascript development. Before Whiskey, Ethan co-founded Enemy Kite and worked at CNET Networks. Ethan grew up in Bethel, NY, home of the 1969 Woodstock.

Sean Coonce does engineering for Whiskey Media. Prior to Whiskey Media, Sean worked at Delivery Agent, CNET, National Semiconductor and Skip’s Pizza.  Coonce is locals as he grew up in Palo Alto, CA

Shelby Bonnie is the master distiller at Whiskey Media. Prior to Whiskey Media, Shelby co-founded and was CEO of CNET Networks where he stayed for 14 years. Shelby is also on the boards of the Environment Defense Fund and Warner Brothers Music. Shelby grew up in Brownsboro, KY.

Mike Tatum is the primary business contact for Whiskey Media. Prior to Whiskey, Tatum worked at CNET Networks (twice) and Listen.com, and founded a few small companies. Tatum grew up in Chattanooga, TN.
